"Westward Conspiracy" Artist's Description:
This isn't how I was planning on finishing it, but I hurt my arm and have to take a PS break
And with school starting in LESS THAN A WEEK I dunno if I'll actually be able to work on it more. So I figured up as is was better than having it take up space on my computer
And, a dangerous pastime it may be, I was thinking. I do all my work on a laptop. I've never been trained, I don't have a tablet or even a mouse (just that lovely little pad which is breaking down ). So all in all, I'm pretty freaking pleased with what I can do so far
And I almost forgot, I used some of my own stock for this, you can download here: [link]
I usually make the nebulae with a combination of painting and fractals from Apophysis. It's usually one or two base layers of soft colors, and then several interesting fractals on top of the base colors, set to linear dodge
Amazing work. I love the colour scheme, red puts across a very strong mood. Also, the lighting on the planet looks great, and I love the chunks of rock streaming out across it.
Glad to have helped some!
