Edit: For some reason I had to reupload this whole thing. So sorry if it shows up in your messages more than once :/
Now the download is a zip file that includes 3 separate JPEGs, the preview and the two walkthroughs. If you have trouble please let me know. And if anyone's really interested, I could make the original PDF and the PSD available upon request :)

Hello all you wonderful people out there.

I mentioned earlier this week I was thinking about creating a step by step tutorial. I'd been asked by a couple of different people to do a general tutorial, so I made up "Fight Gravity" pretty easily and thought that would be a good subject. The only catch is I've never really done a tut before. So I figured I'd start small with a walkthrough, and see how that got received.

Download for the full PDF walkthrough which includes a preview image, and two walkthroughs in one: a breakdown of the planet creation, and the final, putting it all together progression.

Program: Photoshop CS4
Skill Level: Basic knowledge of Photoshop is required. But it's really a simple scene, easy to create in under and hour.
Textures: Clouds, dirt, grass (good textures can be found here on dA, at CGTextures, or right outside if you've got a digital camera)
Brushes: Standard Photoshop brushes

It's a pretty big file (although not really on purpose so give it a sec to download), so the image sizes should definitely be big enough to view with ease.

This is my first try at something instructive like this, so if you find any problems or have any questions please just let me know :D

If you do download or use this resource, please favorite. It lets me know you appreciate my efforts and it gives others a greater chance of being able to utilize it :)
