"My Infinite Patience" Artist's Description:
See, this is a funny title. Because, see, you know, I, as it so happens, have no patience. At all.
This started off as strictly a practice piece. I was testing out a new way to do planets. But I ended up liking the result so thought I'd post it Although my new planet technique failed Some parts of this particular celestial body are a bit off to me (including the lighting) but for the most part it's an okay piece. I think . . .
Actually I think I'd be a lot better if I were just patient. This piece here I threw together in like 20 minutes. I just keep telling myself to chill and work harder
I think you might be more satisfied with the lighting if you rotate the planet a few degrees counter-clockwise, but the image as a whole is beautiful. The various elements come together very nicely, and I like the way you mixed the colors. Great work.
I had the same thought about the lighting and I agree with you; it's something I would have done if I still had the PSD with all the original layers. Thank you for the feedback!
Great work.
