So I know my work isn't super awesome (yet) and I've only been doing 'scapes for a few months, but I've had a few people ask me about techniques and tutorials and whatnot. Anyway, I thought I'd give writing up a tutorial a go.
So here's what I'm thinking of doing:
I threw this together earlier. It's pretty simple and I think this will be the subject for a tutorial. Step by step, create this image (or a close approximation of this image). The only thing is I've been staring at this for like two hours and I can't tell if it's good enough to devote more time to

Long story short: Tutorial coming soon. WIP/E preview now.
Aaaand one last thing. Normally I don't do stars, at least not like this, so if I overdid this particular field, you can totally tell me
Stars just aren't my thing but what kind of tutorial would it be if it didn't have stars? (Granted since I don't do stars well I'll have to figure out a better technique before the tutorial's finished.)
I would appreciate a
